In this blog, I read chapter five, in which is discusses about exploring topics and creating a research proposal. I found this chapter very insightful and helpful, especially right now as we are discussing ideas for our project two essay. Finding a good topic for your paper is very essential and will make or break your paper. If you do not have a topic that interests you or that does not drive you to read about this said topic, then immediately research on the internet that actually may interest you. It is very difficult to research and read articles and interview people in a category or topic area that does not interest you are a researcher. Once you have found the topic you would like to research more on, then it is time to create a proposal that will interest the people around you. In creating a proposal, it is very critical to get your main point or idea out on the paper, that way you state your whole reasoning on writing this research paper. It is also very critical to have supporting evidence, from possible peer read articles from experts in the field area that you are currently researching. In these proposals, it is very important to state your own belief, but also have evidence from peer reviewed articles to help back up a possible thesis or argument you are trying to get across to your readers.
